Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7–9 years of direct professional cybersecurity experience.
• At least 1 general cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+) and 1 technical certification (e.g., GCIH, CEH, Splunk/Tenable).
• Deep understanding of security architectures, encryption standards, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues using a systematic and methods-based approach.
• Maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with other functions.
• Communicate using persuasion and authority.
• Understand how their team contributes to department goals.
