Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC is seeking a Senior Director of Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide strategy, strengthen operations, and protect systems, data, and customers across healthcare and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance risk-based security programs, improve control maturity, and support resilience of the Life Science business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 12+ years of cyber security experience in regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams or programs.
• Familiar with healthcare and life sciences regulations (GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA).
• Experience defining and executing enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, and risk management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls or similar frameworks.
• Ability to translate cyber risk and technical concepts for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk.
• Lead security programs across operations, incident response, vulnerability management, governance, and compliance.
• Embed security requirements into products, platforms, processes, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee incident handling, monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response with internal and external teams.
• Improve security controls, policies, standards, dashboards, and reporting.
• Identify threats, gaps, and remediation priorities with technology and product teams.
• Support audits, certifications, and customer assurance activities with measurable practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executives and stakeholders.
