Job summary

Clarivate Analytics US LLC seeks a Senior Director, Cyber Security to lead our Information Security team and drive enterprise-wide strategy, strengthening security operations and protecting data across healthcare, life sciences, and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Quality, and business leaders to advance a risk-based security program, improve control maturity, and support resilience of Clarivate's Life Science business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in cyber security within regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams.
• Familiarity with GxP, FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA.
• Experience defining enterprise cyber security strategy and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls.
• Ability translating cyber risk and metrics to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk and strengthen security posture.
• Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, security engineering, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to embed security requirements into products, platforms, processes, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response for security incidents with internal teams and external partners.
• Drive improvement of security controls, policies, standards, and reporting aligned to internal and external frameworks.
• Evaluate threats, identify gaps, and prioritize remediation with tech and product teams.
• Support audits, certification, customer assurance, and regulatory activities by ensuring security practices are measurable and improved.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team, including staffing and coaching.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executive leadership.
