Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in cyber security within healthcare, life sciences, or regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams, programs, or cross-functional security initiatives.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and data integrity principles.
• Experience translating cyber risk and security metrics into clear leadership recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support customer assurance, audits, and regulatory inspections in regulated environments.
• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model to reduce enterprise risk.
• Lead cyber security programs across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and governance.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and leaders to embed security requirements.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response to security incidents and threats.
• Drive improvement of controls, standards, dashboards, metrics, and reporting to meet requirements.
• Identify security gaps, prioritize remediation, and coordinate with tech and product teams.
• Support audit, certification, and regulatory activities with documented, measurable practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team with coaching and prioritization.
• Communicate risk, performance, and trends to executive leadership and stakeholders.
