Job summary

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Director, Cyber Security to lead enterprise-wide cyber security strategy, strengthen security operations, and protect our systems, data, and customers across healthcare, life sciences, and regulated environments.

You will partner with Technology, Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and business leaders to advance risk-based security programs, improve control maturity, and support resilience of Clarivate’s Life Science business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Cybersecurity.
• 12+ years of cyber security experience in regulated environments.
• 5+ years leading cyber security teams or programs.
• Familiar with healthcare/regulatory standards (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA).
• Experience defining and executing enterprise cyber security strategy, roadmaps, and operating models.
• Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, threat monitoring.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS Controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Lead security programs across operations, incident response, vulnerability management, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Partner with leaders to embed security requirements into products, platforms, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee monitoring, escalation, investigation, and response to security incidents.
• Drive improvements to security controls, policies, standards, and dashboards.
• Prioritize remediation of threats in partnership with technology and product teams.
• Support audits, certifications, and regulatory activities ensuring measurable practices.
• Develop and lead a high-performing cyber security team.
• Communicate cyber risk and program performance to executives.
• Ensure security practices are documented and continuously improved.
