Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Dayton, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage customer inquiries, orders, and quotes. This onsite role supports strategic accounts, coordinating with sales, purchasing, and production to ensure accurate order entry and timely communication.

Shift is Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with pay range $26.07-$28/hr. Associates degree preferred; 3+ years of related experience and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field.
• Experience with project management and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive phone and email inquiries from existing and potential customers.
• Accurately maintain customer accounts, inquiries and orders.
• Provide complete and immediate communication of order schedules and delays to customers and sales staff.
• Prepare, enter, and monitor progress of customer orders for strategic accounts.
• Support RFQ process and prepare quotes for customers as required.
