Job summary

Sealed Air designs and delivers packaging solutions and meets the needs of strategic national accounts. The Strategic Customer Account Project Specialist role focuses on applying packaging science to develop new products and processes, including multi-layer films, packaging equipment, and automation for meat processing.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to solve technical challenges, deliver projects from development to implementation, and drive growth across accounts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the food industry, particularly meat processing.
• Understanding of food, meat, animal, or packaging science and its application.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects with limited supervision.
• Project management or research skills with prioritization and deadline discipline.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key customer contact across R&D, Procurement, Marketing, Engineering and other functions.
• Partner with Sales to identify new business opportunities and support growth strategies.
• Stay informed on industry trends to identify expansion opportunities.
• Build knowledge of Sealed Air’s products and capabilities to communicate value.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Front-End Innovation, Portfolio, Customer Service, Field Quality and Regional Sales.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and implementation.
• Manage multiple projects, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
• Maintain project documentation including plans, reports, and customer communications.
