Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Customer Operations Account Manager in San Jose, CA. The role builds and sustains relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve order, supply, and operational issues while guiding forecasts and revenue attainment.

You will collaborate across factory, finance, sales, and customers; manage product lifecycle, inventory, and strategic initiatives; and lead quarterly business reviews while driving process improvements and new tools adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
• Experience with revenue forecasting, performance tracking, and revenue attainment is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional management skills.
• Ability to manage uncertainty and resolve internal and external conflict.

Responsibilities

• Review customer backlogs and partner with factory, finance, sales, and customers to resolve issues.
• Manage business across the product lifecycle, including NPI and EOL.
• Manage inventory and DOI to minimize inventory costs.
• Analyze demand, supply, consumption rates, and ordering patterns for direct customers and distribution channels.
• Maintain accurate, timely revenue forecasts and support revenue attainment.
• Build strategic relationships across internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
• Lead key projects, improve processes, advise business partners, and support organizational strategy.
• Collaborate across the team to share best practices, remove obstacles, and improve capabilities through new tools and processes.
• Drive operational excellence, customer collaboration, and implementation of new processes.
• Lead quarterly business reviews and operational meetings with customers.
• Guide operational issue resolution using a strong understanding of business processes and procedures.
