Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, TX is seeking a Customer Operations Support Specialist to manage operations between AMD and its customers, overseeing backlog reviews, inventory, and forecast alignment. You will work with multiple stakeholders to resolve order, supply, and delivery issues and support continuous improvements in operational processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-related experience.
Strong supply chain knowledge and project management experience.
Ability to write executive communications and present to management.

Responsibilities

Executes timely review of customer backlogs and resolves issues with factory, finance, sales, and customers.
Manages product lifecycle stages (NPI, EOL) and coordinates inventory and Days of Inventory to control costs.
Monitors demand/supply patterns, forecasts, and revenue timing for direct customers or distributors.
Builds strategic relationships at multiple management levels to ensure business continuity.
Drives important projects and shares best practices within the team.
Communicates effectively to enable operational excellence and customer collaboration.
