Redwire Defense Tech seeks a Vice President, Operational Programs to coordinate and align all operational program activities across U.S. sites.

This role serves as a strategic integrator who removes barriers and ensures cross-functional collaboration for major production programs and customer commitments. The leader drives operational cohesion, leads cross-functional problem solving, and ensures programs have the resources and coordination needed for success across engineering, flight systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or program leadership in aerospace/defense/advanced manufacturing.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple sites.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with leadership influence across departments.
• PMP or PMI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational program activities across U.S. facilities, ensuring unified execution and cross-site alignment.
• Act as the connective tissue between General Managers, Program Directors, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and executive leadership.
• Align site readiness, capacity planning, production schedules, and resource allocation for major programs.
• Lead cross-functional task forces to resolve urgent operational challenges (quality, delays, supply chain).
• Develop enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and reports for SVP and executives.
• Support customer reviews and internal reporting on readiness and risk mitigation.
• Identify inconsistencies and drive standardization across sites.
• Create and maintain cross-site program processes and escalation paths.
