Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations to provide strategic leadership over all U.S. defense tech manufacturing and engineering sites, including UAS/UAV facilities, energy systems, and aerospace plants.

The SVP will align operations with corporate goals and drive cross-site consistency, performance, and compliance. You will lead General Managers, shape safety culture, oversee budgets and P&L, and partner with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership overseeing multi-site defense/aerospace operations.
• Proven track record managing General Managers and multi-site teams.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality systems.
• Expertise in AS9100, ISO, ITAR/EAR, FAA regulations, and DOD rules.
• ERP implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a U.S. operations strategy aligned with corporate goals and market expansion priorities.
• Lead General Managers across manufacturing and engineering facilities.
• Ensure cross-site process standardization and safety culture.
• Oversee P&L and budgeting for U.S. sites.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction across sites.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across AS9100, ISO, ITAR/EAR, FAA, DOD.
