Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Vice President, Operational Programs to drive coordination, alignment, and execution of all operational programs across U.S. sites.

The role serves as a strategic integrator, eliminating barriers and ensuring cross-functional support for major production programs. You will lead cross-site problem solving, develop enterprise dashboards and KPIs, and partner with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and program management to enable timely delivery and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in operations or program management in aerospace, defense, UAS/UAV, or related advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Experience coordinating cross-site teams across multiple facilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to influence across departments and leadership levels.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain constraints, production planning, and quality systems.
• Ability to travel frequently across U.S. facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all operational aspects of programs across U.S. facilities for unified execution.
• Serve as connective tissue between General Managers, Program Directors, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and executive leadership.
• Align site readiness, capacity planning, production schedules, and resource allocation for major programs.
• Act as the primary problem solver for cross-site operational issues impacting program execution.
• Lead cross-functional task forces to resolve urgent operational challenges related to quality, delays, and integration.
• Track operational performance of key programs, ensuring schedule adherence and delivery commitments.
• Develop enterprise dashboards, KPIs, and reports for SVP and executive leadership.
• Support customer reviews and internal executive reporting on operational readiness and risk mitigation.
