Job summary

vnbcareers is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lending professional to lead business development in Florida, acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. You will respond swiftly to referrals from senior management and the branch network, helping to grow profitability and portfolio quality.

You will manage portfolios, cross-sell bank products, and negotiate loan terms in line with credit policies while monitoring credit quality.

Qualifications

> High School Diploma or equivalent; 7+ years lending/credit experience preferred.
> Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or business; Commercial Credit training preferred.
> Strong credit analysis and underwriting knowledge; effective loan structuring skills.
> Proficiency with CRM and lending software (Salesforce, nCino) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

> Drive business development and acquisition of new clients; expand relationships with existing clients.
> Build COIs (centers of influence) to attract new clients.
> Maintain and service portfolios; cross-sell bank products.
> Negotiate lending terms and structure within credit policies.
> Ensure current financial information is analyzed and credit quality monitored.
> Oversee loan closings; ensure documents reflect terms and approvals.
