Job summary

Digicel is seeking a target driven Credit & Collection Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment in Kingston, Jamaica. You will manage and recover outstanding customer debt, reduce aged receivables, and maintain the integrity of the accounts receivable ledger while collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• 1–2 years credit and collections experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable management.
• Experience in fast-paced collection, credit control or receivables environment.
• Experience in telecommunications, utilities, or related industry would be an asset.
• Strong problem solving and decision making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collection of outstanding debt and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Reduce aged receivables by executing targeted collection strategies.
• Maintain accuracy of accounts receivable ledger and reconcile balances.
• Prepare and analyze weekly collections and aging reports for insights and decision-making.
