Job summary

Fabick Cat, a premier Caterpillar equipment dealer, seeks a Collections Specialist to manage a portfolio of accounts, assess credit risk, and facilitate timely payments. You will collaborate with the Sales Team and Credit Manager to resolve disputes and ensure compliance with state tax exemptions.

The role requires prior collection or credit experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Experience in collecting and credit management, including resolving past-due balances.
• Strong communication and confidentiality skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections for a defined portfolio of accounts.
• Perform credit and risk assessment for new credit applications.
• Obtain and review tax exemption certificates for various states.
• Review account adjustments and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes and ensure timely payments.
• Process customer payments and refunds as needed.
• Support with Cat Card products and other customer finance tasks.
