Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Credit Card Compliance Advisor to lead compliance risk management in the second line of defense for the US Card business. You will partner with business leaders, advise on new products, and ensure controls align with Regulation Z, Regulation B, FCRA, and UDAAP.

Travel to multiple Capital One locations is required. You will maintain subject matter expertise, review control effectiveness, and support governance and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Audit or Legal.
• 7+ years in Compliance, Risk Management, Audit or Legal (preferred).
• Master’s Degree or J.D. (preferred).
• Certified with CRCM, ACAMS, or CIPP (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Credit Card Operations, Servicing, Systems or Platforms (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify potential internal and external risks related to business initiatives and provide remediation guidance.
• Maintain expertise of applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform and review control assessments for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Evaluate audits and regulatory findings for compliance impacts.
• Provide guidance on compliance requirements for new products and processes.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Compliance Program and monitoring controls.
• Support in governance, reporting, and leadership communications.
• Travel to various Capital One locations as necessary.
