Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or other business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Use of logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and ability to read a financial statement.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Interact effectively with others to establish and maintain smooth working relations.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to maintain high accuracy.
• Ability to work as a member of a team to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and spread business financial statements and produce cash flow analysis for loans.
• Analyze historic trends in the Borrower’s repayment capacity and evaluate strengths/ weaknesses.
• Assist in the preparation of credit approval forms, annual and quarterly reviews, and accurate risk ratings.
• Assist in ongoing management and monitoring of commercial loan portfolio.
• Ensure financial statements and compliance certificates are up to date.
• Maintain knowledge of borrowers and collateral through financial research including third party data.
