Job summary

Needham Bank seeks an experienced Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer to evaluate, authorize or recommend loan approvals, and advise borrowers on financial status and repayment methods. You will coordinate the full banking relationship for clients and prospects.

Key duties include negotiating documents, reviewing appraisals, and ensuring compliance with state and federal lending regulations. Strong analytical, sales, and communication skills are required, with a bachelor’s in business or finance

Fluent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to build strong relationships and alliances across the organization.

Responsibilities

Work closely with teams on commercial real estate loan requests.
Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications.
Analyze applicant financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Originate and close new loans to existing customers and prospects.
Negotiate legal documents and obtain reports for closings.
Review, track progress, and approve loan disbursements for funded loans.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
