Job summary

Trustmark Corporation in Houston seeks a seasoned commercial lender to apply portfolio management, loan packaging, property inspections, and relationship development to support departmental goals.

You will determine data for loan packages, make credit decisions within authority, price loans, and identify cross-sell opportunities while maintaining high client service. The role collaborates with Audit, Loan Review and OCC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years proven and progressive commercial lending/credit experience or equivalent.
• Experience with real estate or commercial lending risk analysis.
• Developed understanding of lending and credit approval process as well as bank policies and external regulations.
• Practical working knowledge of sales principles.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with products and services offered by financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Determination of data required for loan packages.
• Portfolio management decisions within credit authority.
• Loan pricing decisions within authority.
• Identify prospects for expanded services and cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain high level of customer service to existing clients and build relationships.
