Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accounting processes. The role involves preparing statements, managing the general ledger, and coordinating audits.

Responsibilities include month-end close, GAAP guidance for revenue and accruals, and collaboration with payroll and cross-functional teams. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential for success in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred but not essential.
• 2+ years significant financial and accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of local statutory accounting, regulations, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Fluency in English and languages relevant to the working market if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare portions of the accounting close and statements.
• Manage Fixed Asset subledger, manual journal entries, and accrued expenses/revenue.
• Assist auditors with queries and statutory accounts preparation.
• Provide auditors with supporting documents for reviews.
• Support payroll processing and analysis.
• Ensure monthly close cycle is completed timely and accurately.
• Prepare financial statements with variances vs budget/prior periods/forecasts.
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts per GAAP and local standards.
• Execute monthly SOX controls and document evidence for compliance.
• Lead system upgrades and new initiatives in finance systems.
• Collaborate with local finance and operations teams to drive change.
