Dun & Bradstreet in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Accountant to support financial operations, prepare financial statements, manage general ledger activities, and support audits. You will coordinate accounting matters with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred but not essential.
• 2+ years significant financial and accounting experience.
• In-depth knowledge of local statutory accounting, regulations, and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with taxation and transfer pricing is desirable.
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across functions and levels.
• Ability to respond with urgency and collaborate across business functions.
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare portions of the accounting close with standards and subledgers.
• Manage fixed assets subledger, manual journal entries, accruals and revenues.
• Assist auditors and provide detailed documentation for reviews.
• Support payroll processing and monthly close cycle.
• Prepare financial statements with variance analysis.
