Job summary

Yanfeng in Novi, MI seeks a Senior Costing Manager to lead real-time business case quotes, analyze cost inputs, and drive strategic cost initiatives across our manufacturing network. You will develop accurate overhead and rate updates and partner with plant leaders to improve competitiveness and profitability.

The role requires cross‑functional collaboration on new quote opportunities, managing annual overhead rate updates, and ensuring data integrity across KPI tracking. Travel ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business.
• 10+ years of professional experience in costing or finance.
• 5+ years in automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate financial data for non-financial audiences.
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate costing overhead rate development and annual updates.
• Collaborate with manufacturing plants to understand processes and opportunities.
• Develop and present robust business cases for quotes with KPI inputs.
• Coordinate cross‑functional inputs and manage data integrity in cost models.
