Job summary

Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors is seeking a qualified professional to lead the collection, validation, and integration of cross-functional inputs for quote proposals. The role ensures BOM completeness, applies cost assumptions, and analyzes cost drivers across the plant network to propose cost-effective solutions.

You will develop overhead costing methodologies, communicate key risks and opportunities, and coordinate with Phase 2-5 SDT teams.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing finance background and experience preferred, with the ability to understand the development of business cases, including P&L, Capex, margins, ROS, and IRR.
• A comprehensive understanding of overhead rates and how our organization monitors and assesses various financial KPIs.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions and backgrounds.
• Ability to summarize complex information and communicate key points clearly, professionally, and accurately to internal stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to prioritize topics based on potential material impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection, validation, and integration of cross-functional inputs into quote proposals.
• Ensure BOM is complete, logical, and supported by cost assumptions.
• Evaluate manufacturing quote assumptions against cost drivers and communicate with stakeholders.
• Develop and apply knowledge of overhead costing methodologies within business cases.
• Understand production capabilities across the plant network and apply this understanding.
• Constructively challenge cross-functional assumptions to develop cost-effective production solutions.
• Ensure key business case parameters are reflected in the forecast (volumes, timing, value-stream impact, freight).
• Communicate business considerations, risks, opportunities, and profitability assumptions in completed business cases.
• Provide a comprehensive handoff upon quote completion to internal SDT teams.
• Develop understanding of KPI assumptions and communicate concerns or risks.
• Travel up to 20% to respective Yanfeng locations.
