Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from consultancy
• Experience in pre-contract cost management and budget control
• Chartered or on path to chartership; support available
• Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in tender/bid process from documentation to analysis and reporting
• Manage the change management process including identifying, approving and implementing changes
• Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
• Assist in final accounts preparation and settlement of claims to ensure best value
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports, communicating variations clearly
• Support project management decisions through cost documentation and timely communication
• Assist in settlement of construction disputes with transparency
• Mentor and lead team growth to achieve high performance
