Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director - Cost Manager/ Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for major client portfolios in the Atlanta area. You will oversee a team, interface with clients and stakeholders, and drive cost control and value engineering across projects.

The role demands extensive experience in quantity surveying, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively in a client-facing environment while delivering high-quality commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cost management for construction.
• RICS certification or equivalent accreditation preferred.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• On-site presence and client-facing role experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cost management team and deliver client-facing cost services.
• Interface with client, stakeholders and consultants at all project stages.
• Oversee quantity surveying, cost controls and change management.
• Report on commercial status and manage KPI metrics.
• Promote best practice and improve cost management processes.
• Mentor and develop team members.
