Job summary

Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Accounting to oversee cost of goods sold, BOM and inventory costing. You will drive monthly closes, prepare financial statements and own cost allocation and reserve analyses.

You will lead SOX-related controls, coordinate with Manufacturing Finance and FP&A, and mentor a two-person cost accounting team to ensure accurate data and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 9+ years in cost accounting in biopharma or similar.
• CPA and Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• GAAP and SOX knowledge.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/quarterly close process for general ledger accounts.
• Prepare & analyze financial statements for the Company.
• Ownership of overhead cost pool accumulation and allocation/absorption.
• Ensure timely cost accounting close activities for inventory and COGS.
• Oversee inventory counting and reserve calculations.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for inventory and COGS.
• Assist budget/forecast with volumes, overhead and costs per unit.
• Lead FP&A material preparation for monthly/quarterly reviews.
• Supervise a Cost Accounting team of two.
