Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking an AVP, Chief of Staff to partner with the CTO and drive technology strategy, operating rhythm, and business planning. You will coordinate executives, engineering leaders and business partners to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.

The role requires leadership experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leaders in a fast-paced financial services tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, management, or a related field.
• 7+ years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in technology or financial services.
• Experience as Chief of Staff or in a technology organization is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and translate into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CTO to drive technology strategy and operating rhythm.
• Lead cross-functional projects spanning engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.
• Prepare executive reports, presentations, and communications for the CTO and board.
• Oversee budgeting, fiscal management and resource allocation across tech projects.
• Own the CTO’s operating cadence: leadership meetings, QBRs, and offsites.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
