Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking an AVP, Chief of Staff (CoS) to act as a strategic partner to the CTO, guiding technology strategy, operating rhythm, and business planning across the tech organization.

The role reports to the CTO and coordinates with engineering leadership and business partners across the enterprise. The CoS will lead major initiatives, manage communications for the CTO and board, and maintain the operating cadence, ensuring follow-through on decisions while handling

Qualifications

7+ years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in technology or financial services.
Prior experience as a Chief of Staff or in a technology organization is strongly preferred.
Ability to analyze data and translate insights into recommendations for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to the CTO and technology leadership, aligning tech roadmap with business goals.
Lead cross-functional projects across engineering, infrastructure, security, and product teams.
Oversee budgeting, fiscal management, and resource allocation for tech initiatives.
Prepare executive-level reports and communications for the CTO, board, and stakeholders.
Own the CTO's operating cadence — leadership meetings, all-hands, QBRs, and offsites.
