Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to own the income tax function, lead the ASC 740 provision, and oversee return calculations and filings. You will coach a team of tax accountants and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.

You will drive process improvements, controls, and efficiency across tax processes while handling notices and inquiries from authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the income tax provision process (ASC 740).
• Oversee federal and state income tax return calculations and filings.
• Coach and develop tax accountants through coaching and feedback.
• Engage with internal/external auditors and tax notices.
• Drive process design, controls, and efficiency in tax functions.
