Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support our Senior Counsel in delivering comprehensive legal guidance across our business regions. You will partner with Revenue and Operations, drafting and negotiating a broad range of contracts while mitigating risk and aligning with our urban mobility solutions.

You will champion AI tools to drive efficiencies, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

JD required and Illinois or Tennessee license.
5+ years in corporate or transactional law.
Experience with commercial contracts incl. tech and procurement.
Ability to champion AI tools to modernize workflows.
Strong transactional writing and decision-making.

Responsibilities

Support Senior Counsel across one or more regions or practice groups.
Advise stakeholders on contract issues, compliance, and risk.
Help develop and execute legal strategies for operations.
Understand cutting-edge technology and urban mobility sectors.
Draft and negotiate SaaS, client, procurement, IT, gov, lease, and consulting contracts.
Promote AI-driven efficiency within workflows.
Coordinate disputes and manage outside counsel as needed.
Support other attorneys within the department.
