Job summary

Metropolis Technologies is hiring a Corporate Counsel to support the Senior Counsel with comprehensive legal guidance across business regions. You will draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts, partner with Revenue and Operations teams, and mitigate risk in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams and adapt to our urban mobility technology focus, including operating a four-days-in-office model to foster collaboration and culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a corporate law department or a business/transactional practice group at a law firm.
• Experience with a variety of commercial contracts including management, operating, technology, and procurement agreements.
• Ability to adopt and champion AI tools to transform static workflows into high-output processes.
• Strong transactional and legal writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative work style within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal support to one or more business regions or practice groups.
• Act as proactive business partner, assisting stakeholders with contract-related issues, compliance matters, and risk assessments.
• Develop and execute legal strategies to protect and advance the company’s operations.
• Develop understanding of Metropolis Technologies’ cutting-edge technology and urban mobility industry.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including SaaS, client, procurement, IT, government, leasing, and consulting agreements.
• Adopt and champion AI tools to drive efficiencies and reduce manual tasks across the legal team’s workflows.
• Coordinate business disputes and assist in managing outside counsel as needed.
• Provide essential support to the Senior Counsel and other attorneys within the department.
