Job summary

Metropolis seeks a Corporate Counsel to support Senior Counsel across our business regions, focusing on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, mitigating risk, and aligning legal strategy with advanced technology and urban mobility solutions. You will partner with Revenue and Operations teams, help manage disputes, and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.

The role requires a JD and Tennessee or Illinois license, with a base salary of $140,000–$160,000 and an on-site,

Qualifications

• JD required with active license in Illinois or Tennessee.
• 5+ years in corporate law or transactional practice.
• Experience with commercial contracts including SaaS, procurement, IT, and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to Revenue and Operations teams.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contracts.
• Develop strategies to align with technology and mobility solutions.
• Coordinate with outside counsel when needed.
• Adopt AI tools to improve workflows.
