SEL is seeking a practical, business-minded attorney to join its Legal Team in Pullman, WA. You will partner with business units to provide pragmatic legal guidance and help shape risk-aware, go-to-market strategies.

The role covers drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on legal risks, supporting litigation, and collaborating across the department while applying SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
• Two or more years of experience practicing law.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, solution-oriented legal guidance to business units and subsidiaries.
• Research and analyze legal issues affecting operations and strategic initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, policies, and other documents.
• Advise internal clients on legal risks, options, and business-focused solutions.
• Assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Collaborate across the Legal Department and SEL stakeholders.
• Apply SEL Values and World Class Manufacturing principles in daily work.
