You will partner with business units to draft, review, and negotiate agreements, advise on risk, and support litigation as needed.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a broad Legal Department and adherence to SEL's values and manufacturing principles while helping SEL achieve its business objectives in Eastern Washington.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (or equivalent admission in another applicable jurisdiction).
• Two or more years of experience practicing law.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units and subsidiaries to provide practical, solution-oriented legal guidance.
• Research and analyze legal issues affecting business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
• Advise internal clients on legal risks, options, and business-focused solutions.
• Assist with litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and professionals across the Legal Department and throughout SEL.
• Apply SEL values and World Class Manufacturing principles in your work.
