Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to serve as a trusted advisor to SEL's business units and subsidiaries.

You will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, advise on legal risks, and collaborate across the Legal Department to support innovative engineering and operations. Located in Pullman, WA, this role offers broad exposure to contracts, employment, EH&S, and corporate governance with ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (or equivalent admission in another applicable jurisdiction).
• Two or more years of experience practicing law.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and collaborative approach.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
• Self-motivated, action-oriented, and capable of making sound decisions.

Pay Range Data

We anticipate filling this position as a Corporate Counsel with a pay range of $119,700 to $176,900 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience, and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
