Job summary

Larson Maddox represents a mission-driven consumer products company seeking an Associate General Counsel to support the General Counsel in Idaho Falls. The role focuses on transactional work, privacy, compliance, and strategic legal guidance for a global business.

You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, manage litigation strategy with outside counsel, supervise one attorney, and partner with multiple departments to mitigate risk and drive growth.

• 6+ years of legal experience in top law firm or in-house setting.

The legal team is looking to bring on a strong legal professional with a background in transactional work to be the right hand person to the General Counsel and assist with a variety of legal work.

• Advise senior leadership on privacy, litigation, compliance, and corporate legal matters

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Manage litigation strategy and outside counsel relationships
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact
• Supervise one attorney and help drive legal department priorities

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of legal experience in a top law firm and/or in-house legal department
• Strong commercial contracting and general corporate experience
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Privacy law experience preferred
• Technology, e-commerce, or regulatory compliance exposure is a plus
• Ability to relocate to Idaho Falls, ID and work onsite five days per week (relocation support available)
