  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state securities laws.
  • Coordinate with external counsel as needed.
  • Supervise junior attorneys, legal assistants, and possibly paralegals.
  • Provide training to legal team members and company employees.
  • Work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Corporate Attorney in Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will work with sophisticated clients and support the transition of long-standing relationships from senior partners. This role offers the opportunity to grow a practice within a collaborative environment.

Duties
  • Provide legal advice on corporate issues, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, and securities law compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state securities laws.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to legal team members and company employees.
  • Maintain attention to detail and produce accurate work.
  • Work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines.
  • Engage professionally in-person, virtually, and through email and phone.
  • Supervise junior attorneys, legal assistants, and possibly paralegals.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate and JD degrees from accredited institutions.
  • Current WSBA membership.At least 10 years of practice as a corporate attorney.
Education
  • Undergraduate and JD degrees from accredited academic institutions.
Certifications
  • Current WSBA membership.
