Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership.
• CPA certification and active license strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven track record building or transforming accounting functions.
• Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation.
• ERP selection, implementation, or major finance transformation.
• M&A, purchase accounting, post-acquisition integration.
• Internal controls experience; SOX/SEC exposure preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineered products in a high-growth setting.
• Advanced Excel and modern ERP/financial reporting proficiency.
• Executive-level communication in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a scalable accounting organization with mentoring.
• Own monthly, quarterly, annual close and consolidated reporting under U.S. GAAP.
• Establish policies, procedures, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Transition external accounting to in-house resources strategically.
• Lead multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation including international ops.
• Oversee ERP design, data conversion, testing, and cutover.
• Lead external audits and strengthen controls toward SOX readiness.
• Provide technical accounting leadership on revenue, leases, equity, and business combinations.
• Support M&A diligence, purchase accounting, opening balance sheets, integration.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, AP/AR, payroll, collections, revenue accounting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, executives, auditors, and operations for timely financial info.
