Job summary

Our client in the industrial equipment industry seeks a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations across two subsidiaries and multiple locations. The role reports to the President and requires manufacturing-level controller experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and ERP-driven process improvements.

The position entails leading a six-person accounting team, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and communicating financial information to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Controller-level experience in manufacturing.
• GAAP knowledge and financial leadership experience.
• Experience leveraging ERP to automate reporting and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting across two subsidiaries.
• Mentor a six-person accounting team and ensure quality of work.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash projections, and financial performance analysis.
• Maintain internal controls, GAAP compliance, audit readiness and accurate reporting.
• Manage cash, banking relationships, lines of credit and related compliance.
• Coordinate with outside firms on tax matters and compile required financial information.
• Administer and optimize ERP and accounting systems to reduce manual processes.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support leadership decisions.
• Communicate financial information and recommendations to ownership.
• Drive business planning, operational efficiency initiatives and financial strategies.
• Conduct financial reviews and due diligence for acquisitions as needed.
