Job summary

Hoxton Circle is seeking a Global Controller to lead its worldwide accounting organization. You will oversee a ~15-person team and drive financial reporting, consolidation, and strategy in a multinational manufacturing environment.

The role partners with senior Finance leaders, drives ERP transformation, and will influence investment decisions and M&A activity. CPA or MBA is required, with strong leadership across diverse geographies.

We’re partnering with a fast-growing global manufacturing company on the search for a Global Controller to lead its worldwide accounting organization.

This is a broad leadership role with responsibility for accounting and financial reporting across a complex, multinational business. Reporting to the CFO, you'll lead a team of approximately 15 while partnering with Finance and operational leaders around the world on everything from financial strategy and manufacturing performance to systems transformation and investment decisions.

The business is also entering an important period of transformation within Finance, including a global ERP implementation and continued investment in automation, technology and AI. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established global accounting function while playing a major role in building the infrastructure needed for the company’s next stage of growth.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the global accounting and financial reporting organization across the US and international operations
• Own monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting across a complex, multi-entity and multi-currency organization
• Partner directly with the CFO on long-term financial strategy, planning and broader Finance initiatives
• Lead and develop a team of approximately 15, including an Assistant Controller, while partnering closely with Finance leaders across multiple countries
• Work with manufacturing leadership on cost accounting, inventory, profitability, capital investment and longer-term strategic planning
• Own global statutory reporting and oversee compliance across international entities
• Manage the external audit relationship and ensure a strong global controls environment
• Oversee transfer pricing processes and related compliance across the company’s international footprint
• Play a leadership role in a major global ERP transformation
• Provide financial leadership around strategic investments and M&A activity
• Present financial performance, risks and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant Board committees

What we’re looking for:

• Significant progressive accounting and finance leadership experience within a complex global organization
• CPA or MBA required
• Proven experience leading accounting and financial reporting across multinational operations
• Strong manufacturing experience, including a deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory and plant finance
• Experience leading and developing sizable, geographically dispersed teams
• Strong ERP experience, including exposure to major systems implementations or transformations
• Experience consolidating multi-entity, multi-currency financial results
• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership and operational teams
• A strategic but hands-on leadership style, comfortable operating at the executive level while remaining close enough to the detail to drive execution
