Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking a Corporate Controller in Covina, CA (hybrid) to own accounting and financial reporting across the organization, driving a fast monthly close and consolidation.

The role leads a multi-entity team, oversees revenue recognition under ASC 606, WIP, intercompany eliminations, and works with private equity sponsors and lenders.

You will build scalable processes, control framework, and partner with operations to improve job costing and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3–5 years in a Controller or similar leadership role.
• Significant multi-entity consolidation experience.
• Strong intercompany accounting and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for all units and the holding company.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements with intercompany eliminations and allocations.
• Deliver monthly reporting to executives, PE sponsor, and lenders.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and WIP schedules for projects.
• Lead audit readiness and develop scalable internal controls.
