AbbVie is seeking a Corporate Catering & Events Manager to lead and grow a comprehensive enterprise catering program across multiple Lake County campuses in Illinois. You will shape service models, menus, and operating standards while overseeing daily operations and guest experiences for executive stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Management, Event Management, or related field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership in catering/hospitality/event management or related service environment.
• Experience leading multi-site catering operations or large corporate events.
• Proven ability to implement operating procedures, service standards, training programs, and process improvements.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting revenue, and cost controls.
• Experience with catering management software, online ordering platforms, and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship management across organizational levels.

Responsabilités

• Lead the enterprise catering program across Lake County campuses with scalable service models and standards.
• Direct leadership to two Catering Operations Group Leaders and guide the broader teams.
• Oversee daily catering and event operations, ensuring consistency and high service levels.
• Develop and enhance menus, service tiers, and event solutions to drive growth and reflect trends.
• Implement and manage catering technology platforms, SOPs, and reporting.
• Plan and execute corporate meetings and large events with contingency planning and risk management.
• Drive revenue growth, control costs, and improve cost recovery and efficiency.
• Engage clients and stakeholders, maintaining satisfaction and alignment with objectives.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Utilize data and feedback for continuous improvement and strategic growth.
