Atlas Search is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager for a hybrid Boston position within the financial services space. You will own corporate accounting, intercompany activity, accounts receivable, billing, accounts payable and balance sheet management, ensuring accurate books and timely reporting.

Qualificações

• 5–10 years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within financial services, private equity/alternative investments, professional services, or another multi‑entity environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience across general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, billing/AR, and accounts payable.
• Hands‑on NetSuite experience required, including transaction processing, vendor/entity maintenance, reporting, and reimbursable expenses.

Responsabilidades

• Own and reconcile key management company balance sheet accounts, ensuring balances are accurate, current, supported, and explainable.
• Prepare and review supporting schedules tying transaction-level activity to the general ledger.
• Investigate period‑over‑period fluctuations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support recurring monthly and quarterly accounting processes and ensure assigned deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Maintain accurate accounting records within NetSuite and support ongoing reporting requirements.
• Manage intercompany balances between the management company, funds, and affiliated entities.
• Identify amounts due and maintain detailed support for intercompany receivable and payable balances.
• Prepare and issue intercompany invoices and coordinate settlements through cash movement.
• Reconcile intercompany activity to the general ledger and investigate outstanding or aged balances.
• Ensure intercompany accounts remain current and fully supported throughout the quarter.
• Prepare portfolio company invoices for reimbursable professional fees, travel expenses, monitoring fees, and other ancillary charges.
• Maintain complete supporting documentation for all invoices.
• Own accounts receivable aging across portfolio company, fund, and affiliated balances.
• Manage collections from initial follow‑up through resolution, including direct communication with portfolio company and fund contacts.
• Drive reductions in aged receivables and prevent unbilled activity from accumulating.
• Reconcile billed amounts to underlying expenses and recorded receivable balances.
• Maintain new and existing vendor and entity records within NetSuite and the accounts payable platform.
• Review and allocate invoices for payment and route them through appropriate approval workflows.
• Maintain accurate vendor documentation, including W‑9 and W‑8 forms.
• Maintain vendor tax information throughout the year and prepare the annual 1099 population for review and filing.
• Help ensure AP processes, documentation, and accounting treatment remain accurate and consistent.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen reconciliations, documentation, controls, and accounting processes.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for questions related to assigned corporate accounting areas.
• Partner with Corporate Finance to resolve open items and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
