The Intersect Group is partnering with a large organization in Atlanta, GA to recruit a Corporate Accounting Manager. This hybrid role leads a small team and partners with Treasury, FP&A and controllership, offering executive visibility and long term career growth.

You will own ASC 842 lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and complex reserves, ensuring US GAAP compliance and SOX controls while mentoring a direct report and driving process improvements across the corporate accounting

Qualifikationen

• Progressive corporate accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and experience applying ASC 842.
• Experience with SOX controls and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex analysis.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.

Aufgaben

• Own global lease accounting activities under ASC 842, including controls, reporting, and compliance.
• Oversee accounting and reporting related to stock based compensation and other equity transactions.
• Manage restructuring accounting activities, control testing, supporting schedules, and financial statement disclosures.
• Review accounting for internally developed software and technology related transactions.
• Ensure assigned accounting areas comply with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and established internal controls.
• Support analysis and financial reporting for complex reserves and other balance sheet matters.
• Manage and develop one direct report while providing technical guidance and review.
• Partner with Treasury, FP&A, controllership, and other finance leaders on corporate accounting initiatives.
