Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Accountant to support complex accounting activities for the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and forecasting. The role partners across the business to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a large corporate setting, with GAAP and SOX knowledge and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience in public accounting or large corporate environments.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ability to conduct technical accounting research and document findings through memos.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial applications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the month-end close process and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances for revenue and expense accounts.
• Perform technical accounting research and document conclusions in memos.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Support forecasting and strategic planning with key drivers and components.
• Partner with business and finance teams to gather information and understand financial impacts.
• Assist with fixed assets, lease/contract reviews, and budget variance analysis.
• Lead or contribute to process improvements and accounting initiatives.
• Provide guidance and review work by junior accounting professionals.
