Cleaver-Brooks, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our team in Thomasville, GA. The role supports the corporate office with general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc analyses to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of accounting experience. Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month, quarter and year-end close processes.
• Prepare assigned monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly spending variance analysis, including research and documentation.
• Maintain corporate general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
• Support peers and management with internal and external projects.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests.
• Handle day-to-day ledger maintenance and related duties.
