Cleaver-Brooks in Thomasville, GA is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the corporate office with general ledger management, journal entries, and monthly reconciliations. You will participate in close processes, variance analysis, and internal/external project support while ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance with 3–5 years of experience and strong Excel/MS Office skills; excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month, quarter and year-end close processes.
• Prepare assigned monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly spending variance analysis and documentation.
• Maintain corporate general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
• Support internal and external projects and audit preparation.
• Assist day-to-day maintenance of ledger accounts.
