Job summary

The COO will serve as a strategic partner and operational leader reporting to the CEO, providing enterprise-wide oversight to ensure ongoing mission success and sustainable operations.

Responsibilities include leading behavioral health, substance use services, and residential supports, driving a unified multi-state vision, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while collaborating with the CFO on the annual budget.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, human services, nonprofit healthcare, or nonprofit management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, social work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee behavioral health, substance use, and residential services across programs.
• Partner with CEO and executive team to drive a unified multi-state strategy.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget with the CFO.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance across programs.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams with compassion, empathy, and resilience.
