Job summary

BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to provide executive leadership across operational and administrative functions.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will partner with physician leadership to execute strategic priorities and oversee clinic operations, revenue cycle, HR, compliance, marketing, facilities, information technology, therapy, imaging, DME, and ASC oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of senior-management experience within physician group practice or similar.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Growth: develop and execute strategic plans and operating priorities.
• Practice Operations: oversee clinic operations, imaging, therapy, DME, and ancillary services.
• Financial Performance & Revenue Cycle: manage budgets, expenses, and payer relationships.
• Ambulatory Surgery Centers: provide executive oversight of affiliated ASC operations.
• People & Culture: develop leadership and promote accountability across teams.
• Compliance, Legal & Risk: ensure HIPAA, CMS, and regulatory compliance; manage contracts.
