Job summary

Aon seeks a North America Totalis Chief Operating Officer to unite Affinity Programs and MGA businesses with Totalis Program Underwriters into a unified specialty underwriting platform. You will shape the operating strategy, lead transformation, and build scalable foundations for growth.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive governance, efficiency, and performance, oversee large-scale integrations, and develop high-performing, inclusive teams across North America under Aon's Smart

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading operations, transformation, shared services or business execution within a large, sophisticated organisation.
• Strong commercial and financial savviness, including budgets, investment priorities and operational performance.
• Track record translating business strategy into scalable operating models and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation, integration or technology-enabled change programmes.
• Exceptional leadership and collaboration with senior executives, capable of alignment.
• Experience leveraging technology, automation, data and AI-enabled capabilities to improve efficiency and growth.
• Experience within the MGA space and digital distribution of insurance programmes and related ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year operational strategy aligned to growth, profitability, client experience and risk objectives.
• Build, implement and continuously improve the operating model across people, processes, technology and third-party partners.
• Partner with business, technology, finance, risk and compliance leaders to drive operational excellence and simplify ways of working.
• Lead large-scale transformation, integration and change initiatives, including launch readiness and governance.
• Support acquisition integration, new programme launches and future platform expansion opportunities.
• Drive performance through governance, service levels, automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Lead operational reporting, risk management and control frameworks for resilience and compliance.
• Build and develop high-performing teams with an inclusive culture of accountability and collaboration.
